英国国家量子技术计划(UKNQTP)是英国政府设立的一个计划[1] 旨在将量子力学的学术工作,以及量子叠加和量子纠缠的现象转化为新产品和服务。它将英国物理学家和工程师与对这项技术商业化感兴趣的公司和企业家聚集在一起。
英国财政大臣乔治奥斯本在《2013年秋季声明》中投资2.7亿英镑启动了英国国家财政季度计划。[7]除此之外,英国国防科学技术实验室(Dsl)单独宣布投资3000万英镑用于生产演示设备的项目。
英国量子技术计划的主要焦点是量子技术的四个“枢纽”:
英国量子技术计划由量子技术战略咨询委员会提供建议,该委员会由大卫·德尔皮( David Delpy)教授担任主席,成员还包括教授彼得·奈特爵士、内维尔-琼斯女男爵、杰拉尔德·米尔伯恩教授、伊恩·沃尔姆斯利教授以及来自工业界、学术界和公共部门的其他杰出人士。
该计划由几个英国公共机构实施:英国政府商业、创新和技能部、欧洲公共科学研究中心、创新英国、Dstl、NPL、CESG和知识转移网络。
